OXYTRAP
Removal of Oxygen from gases takes place only with the help of catalyst types of materials, which also work only under specific operating conditions. We use a pre-treated catalyst that can be generated & has comparatively better activity under normal working conditions. Oxytraps are supplies with either indicating or non- indicating the type of catalyst.
MOISTURE TRAP
High-efficiency Silica gel & Molecular sieves are used for the purpose of removing moisture from the carrier gas. Silica gel is of indicating type changing its colour from blue to pink on uses which have moisture capacity. The shape of the molecular sieves is spherical, which yields high mechanical strength & low dusting. Both the materials are of regenerable type.
Silica gel Material: When the colour of silica gel material changes from blue to white then it needs to be regenerated by keeping the silica gel material in the oven at 110°C. The normal frame for regenaration is approx 2-3 Hrs.
Hydrocarbon trap
Activated charcoals is used for the purpose of removing hydrocarbon impurities from the carrier as well as fuel gases, especially for reducing the errors in analysis while using FID. These materials have a very large surface area & pore diameter to absorb large size hydrocarbon molecules.
Activated Charcoal / Carbon material should be replaced after 1 ½ to 2 years. Keep the activated charcoal / Carbon at 110ºC for 2-3 Hrs for regeneration or its better to replace the Activated charcoal.
Tubings
Tubings are available in Stainless Steel, Copper, Nylon & Teflon in different sizes. It is specially made for chromatograph use. Tubing is good in strength, flexible & in capillary form.
